Singapore Water Purifier Review
Recently we there are a number of cases of dead body found in the reservoir in Singapore. This is alarming to many Singaporean. However, if we  take a look at other places there are people who bury their dead in the lake. It  is alarming because we are not used to seeing dead body in the lake or more so  in the reservoir as that is where we get our drinking water from. In any case  our water is polluted irrespective of whether we can see it or not. We do have a water processing plant and the water that comes to our home in  Singapore is purified and clean for consumption. The only problem is our piping  systems are getting old and pure water can be polluted while on the way to our  home. With good maintenance by the public service this issue is resolved.  However, the key problem lies in our home. We are supposed to take care and  maintain the pipes in our home, if our pipes are corroded then the pure water that we are drinking is not pure water anymore and certainly not fit for human consumption. Finally  the last problem lies in the treatment of the water. All our water are usually  treated with Chlorine, it is by far the only chemical found in our water used  to kill bacteria and viruses.  In  fact Chlorine is not good for health; in the long run we are just poisoning  ourselves slowly. In fact those who boil the water at home will make it worse,  as once Chlorine is boiled it turns into Trihalomethane, in short THM. THM is  cancer causing and I believe drinking water contributes to the big part of why  there are some many cases of cancer. In fact every 3 person standing together one is going to suffer from cancer. The rate is alarming and high. It is not the dead body in the water that is killing us; it is the Chlorine that we used to  treat our drinking water to prevent contamination due to bacteria and viruses.  I used a good water purifier at home to  take away the Chlorine and I think this is one of the best ways to do so; the  problem is not many people can afford a good water purifier. A cheap water filter usually do not do a good job and is probably useful when it is new. There are different types of  filters used to purifier water, do some homework before making a decision invest in one. As  far as I am concern always invest in the best when it comes to health issue. The  cost of medication and treatment today is simply too costly and out of reach and  it will be the same now and for the future. Therefore, at all cost we should  keep ourselves healthy. Drinking pure water is part of our life and we cannot take it for  granted. One more thing to remember is that the water purifier must produce pure water that is as close to nature as possible. If the water  purifier is able to perform the function of purification, however, at the same time is also taking away the natural mineral in the water, then it will lead you  into another hazard. If you will to give a marathon runner distill water, I can  assure you that he will drop dead when he completes the event, the reason is no  nutrient is being replaced in his body, meanwhile he is losing a lot of body nutrients through sweating and perspiration during the long journey. So expensive or  highly price water filter does not mean that it is good. Look for one that is  effective; carbon filter is the best and look for one that comes with UV light that can kill bacteria and viruses.
